This rate applies to non-residents and non-citizens of the European Economic Area (EEA).

If you are a resident and/or citizen of one of the member countries of the EEA (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden), please refer to the EEA visitor rate.

This rate applies to residents and/or citizens of the European Economic Area (EEA): Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

For EEA citizens: Ticket holders may be asked to present valid photographic ID (identity card, driving license, passport, residency card, etc.) at the museum entrance and at ticket checkpoints.

For EEA residents:  Ticket holders may be asked to present valid photographic ID (identity card, driving license, passport, residency card, etc.) and proof of residency (visa for period longer than 90 days, residency card, etc.) at the museum entrance and at ticket checkpoints.

Ticket holders may be asked to present valid photographic ID or other supporting document with date of birth at the museum entrance and at ticket checkpoints.

Free admission with one of the following valid cards:

• CLEF or CLEF+ membership
• Patron cards
• Free passes (‘Laissez-Passer’) for the Musée du Louvre
• Société des Amis du Louvre membership

Free admission with one of the following valid cards (must be original):

• A valid Pass Éducation issued by the French Ministry of National Education, with photograph and stamp of educational institution. In accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of National Education (E-passes are not accepted).
• For teachers of the arts (from any EEA country):  art history, visual arts, applied arts, design, architecture or archaeology teacher card or a stamped, dated statement from teacher’s educational institution indication subject taught
• Maison des Artistes card or certificate issued by affiliated organisation of which visitor is a member
• National or international press card
• ICOM card
• For scientific, technical or research staff from museums (French or international): professional card indicating status as restorer, curator, research or documentation specialist
• Carte Culture issued by the French Ministry of Culture (plus one)
• Professional tour guide card issued by the French Ministry of Culture or Tourism or from the French Réunion des Musées Nationaux (National Museum Alliance)
• Société Nationale des Antiquaires de France (SNAF) card
• Société de l'Histoire de l'Art Français (SHAF) card

Photocopies will not be accepted. A valid ID may be requested in addition to proof of eligibility for free admission.

• People with disabilities, including wounded veterans, and one carer per person (all nationalities), with certifying card.
• People on French income support or EEA member country equivalent (with supporting document)
• Job seekers with France Travail certificate or EEA member country equivalent dated less than 1 year
• Students of the École du Louvre (including auditors), Institut National du Patrimoine, École Nationale des Chartes and the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Paris with student card for current academic year
